Twilight has been a massive hit - both the book and the film. Many folk are enchanted by the vampires in these books, and with New Moon the movie about to release, Twilight characters are becoming even more popular. One of the most popular characters in the Twilight books actually is Edward. He's the main guy in the books - the one that Bella falls in love with. If you are a bloke and you would like to be a vampire, Edward is a great choice. If you want to be Edward, it doesn't need to be too difficult. Naturally, since vampires are pale, you must use some extraordinarily light foundation to make your skin very pale. Some amber or topaz contacts can offer you the right look for your eyes too. You can actually purchase an Edward costume, or make your own with a pair of jeans and a pleasant button up shirt. Add the spiky hair and you will be looking good for Halloween.

Another of the great Twilight costumes is to get dressed up as Bella. This is a great option for the gals, and since she's the main personality in the Twilight books, this costume choice is bound to be a great hit for Halloween. If you have long brown hair, you're in luck, but even if you don't, you can simply find a wig at costume stores or even at online Auction sites, for example eBay. Find a good Bella costume or get a hoodie and some jeans to make the look yourself comfortable.

Going as Jacob is a neat idea for the fellows. Jacob becomes an important part of this series of books, and he'll definitely be a huge part of the New Moon film, coming out shortly. You'll need to be pretty tall and bulky to drag off this character, but the costuming is pretty straightforward. A black wig can give you the hair, and all that you need is a pair of jeans. If you don't have the darker skin that Jacob has, you can add on someone makeup. Naturally, another of the Twilight costume ideas is to go as Jacob when he is a wolf, which brings up whole new chances for Halloween.

Though these are three of the main characters you can go as for Halloween, they are not the only Twilight costumes out there.
